Laboratory accreditation is a process by which NABL gives formal recognition of technical competence for specific tests/ measurements, based on third party assessment and following international standards.
Since the year 2016, Our Calibration Laboratory has been certified by National Accreditation Board for testing and calibration Laboratories (NABL) Govt. of India based on ISO/IEC 17025:2005 in Electro-technical, Thermal, and Mechanical Calibration for laboratory as well as site calibration. The instruments calibrated under NABL scope include The following:
DC & AC Voltmeter, DC & AC Ammeter, Frequency meter, Ohm meter, Clamp meter, Digital multimeter.
Pressure Gauge, Pressure Switch, Pressure Transmitter, Differential Pressure Transmitter.
RTD sensor, Thermocouple, Temperature Controller with sensor, water bath etc.
We also provide On site Instrument Calibration Services anywhere in Goa, India with prior appointment.
NABL Accreditation gives formal recognition of technical competence to a laboratory for specific calibration result based on third party assessment and international standard.
The Government of India has authorized NABL as the accreditation body for testing and calibration laboratories. NABL operates as an autonomous body under the aegis of in the Department of science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
NABL maintains linkage and member of international bodies like International Laboratory Accreditation Co-operation (ILAC) and Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Co- operation (APLAC).
NABL is signatory to ILAC as well as APLAC Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MRA).
Such international arrangements facilitate acceptance of calibration results between countries which MRA partners represent worldwide.
In global scenario an essential pre-requisite of trade is that any product or service accepted in one country must also acceptable in another country without having to undergo extensive recalibration. WTO recognises that non acceptance of results and measurement data is a Technical barrier to trade. Hence NABL accreditation laboratory calibration results are formally accepted in one economy to other economies.
F.M. Instrumentation is a NABL accredited laboratory since 2016 and offers accurate calibration services to it's customers.
The formal recognition of competence or certification of a laboratory by an Accreditation body like NABL in accordance with international criteria provide several advantages. Our NABL Calibration certificates have following advantages to all our customers:
